1st. Did Dr. B— bring his own camera

2nd. and do all the manipulation himself?

2nd. Yes.

Did you or he have the camera in sight during the whole time it was in Mr. Duguid's5 house before the pictures were taken? Yes, we had the camera from 3. p.m. Mr. Duguid got home at 4. pm. The camera was under our continuous observation.

What interval was there between taking the two pictures?

A few minutes. As soon as the first pair were developed and fixed the second pair were exposed.

Were the plates you bought marked before being used so that you can be sure the negatives taken are on those plates?

No I did not mark them — it was not a test service[?]. But I know the negatives are on my plate —
