Dear Mr Wallace

I could not get any reply to the questions on Friday. The guides wished a special sitting in my own room which is entirely devoted to healing and spiritual meetings, accordingly, last event I sat with the medium (Mrs Bliss) with the result that [2] Mrs Sims controlled herself — I ventured to suggest she should reply through my guides, but with her characteristic manner she decided to answer for herself. I had to put my ear close to the lips of the Medium as the effort was very great for Mrs Sims to speak — I send the answers which I hope most sincerely are correct, the disappointment would be very great if they should prove [3] quite inaccurate, as the spirit presence was so real to me. The first question I made a mistake about. I should have asked what earthly friend visits Mrs Sims and I foolishly inquired who were near her and received for answer "My Mother, sister, Mary and many more" which would not be a test — I will upon the first opportunity put the question again. May I ask you to kindly let me know if the other replies are at all correct!

Mrs Sims' Father came with her and she said she was going away with him as he wished her to rest. She tells me she had been with you but I did not ask her more than the four questions because she could only speak in a very faint whisper and I feared to distress further her and the medium. When Mrs Sims gets stronger we may have enlarged results but you will know the uncertainty of spirit intercourse.

Believe me. | Yours very truly │ Harriot Dames-Cape [signature]1
