I am desired by my Committee to send you a copy of the syllabus of this Club, & to ask you to do it the favour, if convenient for you, of forwarding a message to this northern & inhospitable outpost fitted both to encourage the faithful and enlighten the heathen who sit in darkness.

The Committee sends its compliments & trusts you may be long spared to serve the many causes which you have so courageously espoused.
