Dear Sir
When Sir Harold Ishton came down to see you a month ago you were good enough to give him some particulars of the book on social Reform on which you are engaged. Having regard[?] to the very great interest aroused by the interviews with you published in our columns & in particular by the announcement of your book it has occurred to the Editor[?] [2] that it might be agreeable to you to allow "The Daily News Media" to undertake the work of publication. This paper has always identify identified itself closely with the work of Social Reform in which a very large proportion of its works are rarely interested, and should no suggestion recommend itself to you we believe it very wise publicity would be second to the views you advocate with so weighty an authority
Yours faithfully | H. W. Smith [signature] | News Editor4
