De Sir

It depends upon you. Whether my land, great Britain shall hear the lord New[?] & it may he shall be saved.

Saved from what?

From vice, oppression, poverty — I am arisen[?] to start a Christian Communistic [1 word illeg.] crusade, to get the people interested & pledged to vote & work only for those candidates who will support

(1) The right to work

(2) A living wage

(3) An eight hour day

[2] 5|- a week per three months so that any mind will be free & any head & health[?] will be assured, for it will be hard work at the first.

I am ready now. I should work Lancashire & Yorkshire first.

It depends upon you whether I can start or not.

Shall our Gospel be heard in every village & town in Great Britain or not?

Shall England be saved?

God gave His Law. Christ gave Himself for the world's redemption. Are you willing to give 5|- a week per three months to redeem him [1 word illeg.] from hell, for the present unholy struggle is hell.

[3]3 (4) Nationalisation of land, now & always.

(5) An old age pension of 10|- per week at GB.

(6) Adequate provision for sickness[,] invalidity &c.

(7) Adult suffrage

(8) Government schemes to start new industries

(9) A Bill to suppress bigamy & oppression

I shall sell all reform literature from door to door & hold meetings at night & Sundays[.]

A great Holy War against Poverty, Injustice & Wrong, & for Liberty, Equality, Brotherhood.

I can stock a small room but I want a small ascetic living[.] I want you to give me.

[4] Am I to start this Crusade? Equality for all are the children of God. Brotherhood for [1 word illeg.] in your Master even Christ & all ye are brothers. Liberty, God made us free but the present system makes slaves of men.

Away then with it all[,] away with competition, away with injustice, away with greed, away with slavery. We shall be free as equals, as brothers we claim an equal share of the worlds work, wealth & pleasure.

Shall I start?
