I have just read a new paper by Newcount1 in the "Astronomical Journal" No. 525, and let down the net result [?] or the chance of it being useful to you. If is this; if we could measure the parallaxes of all then [2] write a reasonable proper motion, the average halve of their parallaxes would be about one one-fifteenth their average proper motion.
