My dear Sir

I want to give an account in my next paper on passing events2 of some of the most curious of the recent[?] séances. If you have any particulars which you do not intend to publish will you let[2] me have them?

I know of Mrs Berry's and of Miss Houghton's[.]3 Were you present when the white dove was caught?

I intend in my next article to try, if by an appeal to the unproclaimed believers to unite them, and get them in a body to pronounce an opinion. You[?] must get the Stows[?] and any [3] others you know to join in this movement.

Very truly yours | B Coleman [signature]

A R Wallace Esq
