Letter (WCP304.304)

[1]

Parkstone, Dorset.

Feb[uary] 4th. 1898

My dear Violet

As Ma forgot to send you Will’s1 last letter or your poetry book, I now send them. But I am very busy so cannot write much. If your directors are not very liberal I think you had better give them the sack. I shall be very glad to have you home a bit; & then if you get nothing suitable we can [2] discuss ways & means for your residence in Germany for a time.

Send Will’s letter on to Hurst.

In haste | Your affectionate Pa | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]

Wallace, William Greenell (1871-1951). Son of ARW.
