I shall be very glad to see you & your friend Mr Wallace on Thursday as proposed[.] We dine at 6 — Train 5.10. Fenchurch Street[.]

I am very sorry no excuse since I was at home Saturday & yesterday[.] I have [2] written to Mr Macdougall Smith.2

I hope he will be doing this week.
