Dear Sir,
I have often thought of writing to you suggesting that perhaps some day you would offer me some work for publication, and recently the suggestion has come before me that you ought to give your friends the story of your life and experiences. May I suggest it and ask you to give it to me to publish? It is many years since we met and I doubt if you will [2] remember the occasion, but I very well remember spending an evening in our friend Novelle's Meldola rooms in Bloomsbury and the interesting talk we then had.
It seems to me so many years ago since you wrote your books of travel, that though I do not suggest they should be reprinted, still to a certain extent I imagine in a Life they would be re-told. I trust you will think over this suggestion at your leisure and write to me fully on the subject; indeed, perhaps we might arrange an appointment and discuss it.
Very truly yours | T. Fisher Unwin [signature]
