My dear Doctor Wallace,
Mr. Stead1 has just sent me your card and I am writing to you to thank you for your great favour and to say that I shall come down to Broadstone on next Friday. I shall arrive, I believe, at 2.15 in the afternoon, and I can see you either then or the next day, whichever is the more convenient to you. I shall call as soon [2] as possible after my arrival to inquire as to this last point mentioned.
