We have the honour of informing you that we have succeeded in bringing into life a "DeutScher SpiritiSten Verein"(German Unions of the adherings of the modern psychology) surrounding the whole territory of German language and including all followers and friends, statutes we beg hereby to submit.

Encouraged by the numerous proofs of sympathy granted from all parts and — we are glad to say — from the most excellent [2] personalities of society as well as science as Lambruso, Morselli, Falconer, Richet, Scevedo, Schrenk-Notsing and so on, all honorary members of our association we beg to apply to you, Sir, asking you heartily to be so kind as to permit us to make you honorary member of the "Deutscher Spiritisten Verein"[.]

We trust you will not disappoint us, the less as even your much esteemed name is gloriously known throughout the world, like that of an intrepid champion of truth and right, and as your high-minded spirit will know how to appreciate the important purpose common to all adhering of modern psychology, the explo- [3] sion of the high and highest questions of human life.

Repeating our entreaty, we should thank you very much for kind assent and awaiting the pleasure of your kind reply we have the honour to be your most humble servant.
