I beg you to accept my best thanks for the information which you have gone to so much trouble to give me in your letter (to my town address).

I intend to follow up "Desertis" and, assuming that the matter is interesting to you, would inform you [2] later on of what transpires. — However, if the author is still alive I am afraid the difficulties of re-publication would be much greater, because, if I were to take a part, some substantial alterations would have to be made, and, naturally, that could only be done if the author's approval were given, which he could not give unless he had in the meantime changed some [3] of his convictions.

Yes, it is books on the Philosophy of the higher Spiritualism which interest me chiefly. I thank you very much for naming the book by Thomas Child, which I do not know and which, being recommended by you, I shall read with very great interest.
