I have no notes of any corrections in the last Edition of "Island Life".3 It must therefore be reprinted as it is.

The letter is written on a postcard. "120" written in lead pencil in an unknown hand on the top right, above the address.
Date "12 APR 1911" stamped in very faint purple ink above "Dear Sir', with a separate faint purple vertical stamp to its right showing the initials "W.B." inside a rectangle.

The address "Messrs. Macmillan..." is printed on the reverse of the postcard which bears a halfpenny postage stamp postmarked "Broadstone AP 11 11". There is a circular British Library stamp in red ink in the lower left corner.
