Dear Sir
Many thanks for your very kind letter about "My Life". It is a pleasure to hear of any one who knows and appreciates the beautiful Vale of Neath— than which I know of none more charming and interesting. You will probably not be so interested in my second volume in which are many things with which you will probably not be in sympathy. with. I have read some few [2] of your charming stories about Birds & shall take an early opportunity to read more.
Yours very truly | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
