Having laid before my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty your letter of the 19th Inst[ant].2 requesting on behalf of the Royal Geographical Society that Mr Wallace may be provided with a passage to Sydney, in H.M.S. Juno, I am commanded by my Lords to acquaint you, that the application must be made through the Foreign Office—
