Accept our best thanks for the letter of recommendation you have so kindly favoured us with, and also for the valuable information contained in your letters.

The former has already been of service to us in obtaining our passports, for which a recommendation is required.

We beg to assure you we [2] shall do all in our power to obtain interesting specimens for the Kew Museum, & shall have much pleasure in communicating to you any information we may think interesting.
