The Director Roy[al]. Bot[anical]. Gardens
Dear Sir
I send you Mr Talbot's Photos. Also his letter to me which you need not return. He seems to have rathe vague notions of the problems of Inheritance. When in America in 1887 I met him & saw his Museum & Farm and he struck me as a very clever & enthusiastic experimenter & naturalist. I think if you wrote to him he would be glad to send you any specimens or make any experiments you [2] suggest as being useful.
He has had great misfortunes but is still eager to work.
Yours very truly | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
[3] thanks herewith
