Yours just received.2 Of course what I said yesterday about allowing no one to examine the collections does not apply to a man in Mr. Hemsley’s3 high official position.

I think you, or your mother4 had better tell him exactly what occurred at the interview at Kew, & of the definite offer made to Mrs. Britton5 & accepted by her.
