Frith Hill, Godalming

Oct[obe]r 28th 1883

Dear Mrs Tebb1

Many thanks for your letter enclosing the interesting communication from Herr Stamm[?] to whom I have sent some of the papers he wishes to see.

Mr. Tebb's excellent letter on the Congress I trust may be widely inserted by the newspapers but I rather fear.

Wishing him every success in the good work he is doing

I remain | Yours very sincerely | Afred R. Wallace [signature]

Likely the wife of William Tebb (1830-1917), anti-vaccinationist.
