Dear Newton
I have no abstract of my paper on Parrots2, but will try in a day or two to make one for you.
I have not yet got my collections in order & have besides undertaken to do some of the Nat[ural]. Hist[ory]. work for the "Reader"3 so fear I can do nothing for the "Ibis"4 just yet.
[2] I hear a grand "Conversazione["] & Exhibition is proposed at Cambridge, have you any hand in it?5
In haste | Believe me | Yours very sincerely | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
