Novr 22nd [1867].1

Dear Newton2

I have sent Spizaetus nanus to Wolf3 today.

I shall be here again about the 8th. of December till then at Hurstpierpoint. It would be well for me to have the proofs4 if possible when in town as I may want to refer to books or specimens. If the [2] whole proof is not sent at once please send it in duplicate, so that I may be able to refer back without difficulty. I have had no end of trouble with a long Entomolog paper5 now printing from this not having been done.

Yours very faithfully | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]

[3] P.S. My Collection is still at 9. St. Mark's Crescent, but I stay here when in town and get my letters quicker here in Westbourne Grove. A.R.W.
