Will you be so kind as to inform me what is the usual fee paid to a photographer for the right to reproduce a portrait in a book: or, what you paid the Stereoscopic Comp[any] for reproducing my portrait in "Light". A photographer here — a friend — is supplying one of mine & wants to know how much is usual.
