Thanks for your note. I think the poem I refer to was much stronger & more direct than "A Prayer"— in "The Lower Slopes"— I think too it was blank verse. I have written to Mr. J. Lane for further information.
Ever since you kindly sent me my few letters to Bates (which have been [2] very useful to me) I have been working at Autobiography, which is now nearly finished, & is to be published by Chapman & Hall.
