My dear Dr. Davis,
If you are disengaged next Wednesday evening I should be glad if you could drop on between 8 & 9 as I expect my friend Mr. Wallace to be here. AS you are no doubt aware he is the co-discoverer with Darwin of the theory of Natural Selection as applied to explain the evolution of animals & plants & as he is one of our greatest naturalists you may perhaps like to meet him & have a talk with him. I have asked Dr. Asher.
With kind regards to Mrs Davis & family | Very truly yours | A. Meldola [signature]
