For over thirty years yours has been a name which has been dear to me. The courage with which you have faced the world ever holding out to the people the great Spiritual realities has called up feelings of [illeg.].

I have had the satisfaction of looking on your face twice in Glasgow when you spoke and once in London but I have read all you have penned in books and magazines during that time with what understanding I have. Your life has truly been an inspiration to me.

I take the liberty of sending you a book, which is at all events not exaggerated in its statements of facts or feelings and I should feel honoured if you thought it was worthy of your perusal. I send it with this hope and subscribe myself
