To Prof. Alfred Russel Wallace, O.M., F.R.S.,
Sir,
Knowing the keen interest you take in all matters connected with psychical research etc., I am taking the liberty of sending you a book of mine just published entitled "A Mathematical Theory of Spirit". In this book I attempt to use certain mathematical principles in the elucidation of some of the puzzling questions concerning what may be termed the philosophy of the spiritual.
I truest that you will do me the honour of reading the book; & should you care to express any opinion as to my theory, I should, of course, feel very grateful.
Your obedient Servant | H. Stanley Redgrove [signature]
