Dear Sir

Will you accept the enclosed copy of a small book which in its own way recognises the truth for which you stand — that "this-world" is inexplicable except by a present "other-world", spiritual and intelligent.

The writer looks forward with keen expectation to your forthcoming work.

I am, Sir, | yours, with respect, | Harold B. Shepherd.¹ [signature]

Prof. A. R. Wallace.
