Dear Sir:
Will you permit me to invite your attention to a book of which, I hope, a copy will reach you along with this letter. It is named Limanora, and is in form a utopian romance, but from its wealth of ideas, its perfection of form, its solid scientific foundation, and its high aims it appears to me to be much above most works of that class with which I am acquainted. If I have rightly understood certain passages in the Malay Archipelago and others of your writings, I imagine that you will find it a book after your own heart.
Yours very truly,
J.Collier [signature]
