There is no hurry about the notes for "Island Life"2. I shall take the whole winter to make the corrections, as I shall hardly begin till after ‘Xmas having alterations in my house going on. I wish you success for the Plymouth post, & have good hopes if Ray Lankester3 advised you to apply.
