My dear Mr. Cockerell1

I sent you a Post-Card2 yesterday asking for the number of sp. of Bornean birds.

I now find I want a few more facts. Will you be so good as to see by referring to the B. Mus. Cat. of Birds, whether the genera I give at p. 358 (Island Life)3 as peculiar to Java and India, but not found in Sumatra or Borneo, are also still so restricted. Perhaps too, the generic names are altered.

I think this is all I want for this Chapter.
