Thanks for notes about Java &c...

Do not trouble about Madagascar as I have a list of the birds by Na. Sibree made up to recent date from Grandidier's work. Women twice married & with two families should afford abundant proof of the theory you suggest, but I do not remember hearing or reading of the second family resembling to first husband or his family.
