Godalming,

My dear Mr. Poulton
Prof[essor] Price has written to me and I have replied to him. I hope to be able to attend at any convenient time in the Autumn.
I have today received the very handsome volume of Weismann’s Essays, for which I have to thank you. Will you please give my acknowledgements to the Delegates of the Clarendon [2] Press, — or is it proper to send a letter of thanks to them? If this is not necessary do not trouble to write.
Please note that after Midsummer my new address will be
Corfe View
Parkstone
Dorsetshire.
