I propose reaching Oxford on Monday about 5.33 viâ Basingstoke & Reading, & shall gladly accept your kind offer of hospitality till Wednesday, as I want to see your botanic garden & perhaps beg a rare plant or two for my garden which is my hobby.
My wife thanks Mrs. Poulton for her kind invitation [2] which she is unable now to accept.
