Parkstone, Dorset.
Saturday Evening
My dear Poulton
I find trains have altered and I cannot reach Oxford by the train I mentioned till 6 pm or if late — later. This will be unpleasantly hurried so I will come by an earlier train which will land me at Oxford — if I catch the fast train from Basingstoke — at 2.50, if not then at 4.10 — by one of which trains you may expect me.
Yours faithfully| Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
