My dear Poulton
Thanks for your very kind enquiries after my wife’s health — she is, I am glad to say, improving, though very slowly.
I send you my first letter to Mr Miller which was returned to me through the ‘dead letter’ office and which you can return to him if you think it advisable. [2]1 I think I told you before that I quite agree that the book should be presented to the Linnean Society.
