Dear Mr. Meldola1
I was doubtful whether there might not be some difficulty about "the Sabbath", but I felt from what your mother said to me that she would not come without you & that is your holiday (or holy-day). How is it to be arranged? Will she come with you some Sunday morning? We shall be very glad to see you next Saturday, unless you are disposed to go to the New Forest & can stay over Monday that is to come home on Monday evening. I half promised Willie2 to take him [2] and now is I suppose the time for butterflies. If you can come say what train you can come by in the morning & we will meet you at Woking. If that cannot be arranged we will expect you here on Sat. afternoon.
Yours faithfully| Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
