Godalming.
August 5th. 1885
My dear Meldola1
We shall be glad to see you either on Saturday or on Friday evening to spend Sunday with us & arrange about an excursion. We have not let our house yet & probably shall not this season, as every body is complaining of bad times.
I suppose your holidays have begun.
Faithfully yours| Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
