My dear Meldola
Will it be convenient to give me a bed on Monday or Tuesday next? I am not quite sure which yet, but Tuesday certain if not Monday.
We took Willie to school last week & after some trouble found Abraham — one of the broadest-faced jolliest looking boys I have seen for a long time, & we left Willie in his charge, & hear that he showed him all the ropes, & I expect he is now getting on all [2] comfortably.
If I come to town to your house pray do not stay at home for me as I can play chess with your mother or with Mr Warburg quite contentedly.
Hoping that everything is going on well —
Believe me| Yours faithfully| Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
