My dear Meldola
I have to go to Newcastle next Saturday & shall be very glad to come to you on Friday afternoon or evening if Mrs Meldola will kindly accommodate me. And I shall also trespass upon you on my way back as I want to see an oculist about my eyelid. I shall return on Wednesday I think, & I have to lecture at Sale near Manchester on Tuesday. There are some things I want to talk to you [2] about — Darwinism of course, as I have set straight at work at my "Popular Sketch".
With kind remembrances to your Mother & wife
Believe me| Yours very faithfully| Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
