My dear Meldola

Many thanks for notes & references on "Colour" Chapters. I have used all the latter. I am glad you think the "recognition Colours" quite sound. They are a special hobby of mine, & I think they fill up a great gap in enabling us to account for the specific & generic diversities of colour & marking, apart from, [2] & often apparently, opposed to the protective colours.

I am getting on slowly being harassed by printers delays. We are going to Hastings on Wednesday for a week or two in order to restore my wife’s health. Address there will be c/o Mrs. Pearson 13, High Wycombe, Hastings. I am sending back by parcel post the books Mrs. Meldola kindly lent me [3] for train reading. I also enclose a few Zoo[logical] Tickets in case you may like to go, any of you, now the weather is becoming a little brighter.

With kind remembrances to your wife & mother
