Sunday1
My dear Meldola
I had intended to return home after the meeting tomorrow, but have just got a card announcing the 2nd Meeting on Tuesday — an unprecedented phenomenon. If therefore you are all well at home & it will not inconvenience your wife I shall pbe glad of a bed on Monday night, — & possibly if I cannot do all I want on Tuesday morning, on Tuesday night also. I hope [2] you will get this tomorrow morning. After the meeting I am going to meet Violet at the Nat[ural] Hist[ory] Museum, & will come on to you later.
Yours very truly| Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
