My dear Meldola1
I hope you have recovered from your illness. I hear from Will2 that he will be here on Easter Sunday & Monday, so if you are coming to Bournemouth to recruit I hope you will give us a call on either of those days if possible.
I quite remember the Everetts & that one of the sons had a telescope. I am glad to hear that he is now a full grown (or -blown) Astronomer. Is it his profession or hobby? As I am venturing to write upon [2] this tremendously difficult & complex subject (for an outsider) I should much like to find some one who could read my MSS. or proofs, & do it carefully, so as to prevent my making those stupid mistakes or oversights which are almost inevitable in dealing with a subject which one is not quite familiar with. If you think Mr. Everett would or could do this for me please send me his address. Also if I might [3] offer him a fee for his work.
Believe me| yours very truly| Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
