My dear McLachlan

I am preparing a new (cheap) edition of my "Island Life", and shall be much obliged if you will inform me whether any alteration is required in the list of "Trichoptera peculiar to the British Isles" which you kindly furnished me for the 1st Ed[ition]. They were: —

1. Setodes argentipunctella — Windermere & Killarney.

2. Rhyacophila munda — Wales Guernsey & Devonshire.

3. Philopotamus insularis. Guernsey.

Any further information you may have as to the distribution of these species [2] or as to any other species since discovered in the British Isles will be acceptable.

Should you ever be in this part of the country I hope you will give me a call.

Believe me| Yours faithfully| Alfred R. Wallace [signature]

R. McLachlan Esq.
