Finding that all seaside places were full & difficult to get lodgings, I came on Monday (7th) straight to Swanage, & failing to get room there came on to Weymouth, & with some trouble have got comfortable rooms here. On the way down Mrs. Wallace met a gentleman who recommended a lodging in Lyndhurst & I have written from here & engaged it from August 23rd for two weeks. It is at Mrs Olden’s, Laurel Cottage, Lyndhurst. Perhaps you will come on your first Sunday & see about your lodging. (60 St. Thomas’ St[reet], Weymouth)
