Shall be glad to see you on Monday afternoon. Have a friend with us so cannot offer you a bed. The Varleys3 called but I do not know if they saw any thing. The whole thing has bust up, & the Corporation of Godalming are obliged to sue humbly to the Gas Compy. to enlighten their darkness! The Swann lamps would go out & when they did not go out gave far less light than gas lamps!
