I have much pleasure in giving you permission to translate my article in "Forecasts &c." for your Review.2 I am very glad to find that you consider it be such as will interest your readers, and I trust that its publication in the French language3 will call attention to the practical suggestions it makes in the interest of the workers. It embodies the main results of my study of Social [2] problems for many years.

Augustin (Frédéric Adolphe) Hamon (1862-1945). French socialist-anarchist writer and editor. He founded the anarchist journal L’Humanité nouvelle in 1897. He was editor of the journal until 1903. From 1900/4 he translated George Bernard Shaw’s work into French.
