I could not give any lecture on Natural Selection without large diagrams which would be unsuitable in such an [one word illegible] & involve more trouble than I care about.
I will though give you the lecture in "Social Economy or Political Economy"— But please understand that I have no particular desire to come to London to lecture, & if your [2] Committee think they can have any more suitable subject from any other lecturer I shall be quite content.
