We are sending you 4 sets of proofs of the leader, which will serve the purpose of 2 copies with which <backs> These have been specially pulled, in order to facilitate completion of this troublesome job[?]. We hope you will now be able to <send> the book to press without much further alteration or <remaking?> up. The chapters were carefully planned originally, so we
