My dear Mitten1
Ananda2 has been again to Ceylon geologising, & has sent me a small lot of orchids from 5500 feet elevation. They are mostly dead, but I pulled off them a lot of bits of moss & some ferns, & though I suppose there is nothing new from Ceylon, there may be a few interesting pickings.
Hoping you are all well.
Yours very sincerely | Alfred R. Wallace. [signature]
